By accessing and using PDFixel, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the service.
PDFixel is a browser-based document toolkit. It provides tools for working with PDF, Office, image and video files, including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, cropping, resizing, optical character recognition and electronic signatures.
All processing runs locally in your browser. We do not receive, transmit or store the files you work on. As a consequence, the service depends on the capabilities of your own device and browser, and is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

You retain all rights to your documents. Because processing happens entirely on your device, you do not grant us any licence over your content, and we never receive it. We claim no ownership of anything you create or process using PDFixel, and you are solely responsible for the content you choose to process.
The service is subject to the following limits:
Paid plans are available on a monthly or annual basis and are billed in advance for the full period selected. Payments and checkouts are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments; we do not receive, process, or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time from your account, with access continuing until the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days notice, which will not affect a period you have already paid for.
Several tools modify or reconstruct documents, including repair, compression, encryption and editing. Results depend on the structure and condition of the source file and are not guaranteed to be complete or lossless. Because we never hold a copy of your file, we cannot recover an original for you. Always keep a backup of any document before processing it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFixel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the service or from any output it produces.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination your right to use paid features ceases; because your documents are never stored with us, there is no content of yours for us to delete.
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
